"Lying is a sad substitute for the truth, but it is the only one that has been discovered so far - Elbert Hubbard"
I write these words thinking in all the cyclists who won their competitions with honor, pride and fair play. All the cyclists who did correct things, within the law, within the moral that a professional athlete must have.
I do this for them.
Lance Armstrong, the biggest lie of cycling. Seven tours, seven lies. This is the face of lies, but he isn't the only one to blame, the vast majority of cyclists get doped. The teams knows that if you don't use EPO, blood and other doping substances you can't win races.
Lance Armstrong, is not the only one, most cyclists do the same.
Justice puts us in our place rather earlier than later. Armstrong has lost this race, but we send a message to our society, we prefer an honest looser above a liar winner.
Armstrong won a lot of money with tours, publicity, clothing... It's time to pay it all back. And remember, if you sell smoke, smoke you will get.
People love sport, fair sport, athletes can excel without using drugs, this is the magic of sport.
Thanks for reading these words and remember, FAIR PLAY!
It was surprising news, Armstrong was a symbol of the bike, but now, after hearing the news of becoming one of the biggest frauds of sport. It seems that in cycling and in many sports can not compete fairly, increasing cases of these. Fair play!
